Nearly ten years ago, I took my daughter Maya to a Music Together class, and I knew soon after that I would love teaching this program. As a center director since 2008, I enjoy creating a fun, informal and social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development. It is such a joy to share in your little ones' musical journey!

I believe that the arts are an essential part of early childhood education. While growing up in Cape May, I was involved in singing, dancing and acting, and during college at Yale I was lucky to do extensive traveling with two a cappella groups. Prior to teaching Music Together, I worked in administration and marketing for several prominent arts, education and performance organizations in California, Maryland and New Jersey. My two daughters, Maya and Jemma, also enjoy music and acting, and we like our household lively! Older students might have had me as a Spanish or music teacher, and I direct the school musical at Teitelman. You can also catch my husband, Jay, and me playing music around town as The Honeyhawks.
